How we care for each other here

EOPIRA is a quiet, kind space. These few agreements keep it that way for everyone.

    Be gentle

    People come here carrying heavy things. Speak the way you would want to be spoken to on your hardest day. No criticism, no debates, no correcting someone's pain.

    Stand with, don't fix

    You don't need the right words. A prayer, a kind sentence, or simply standing with someone is enough. Avoid unasked-for advice, especially medical, legal, or financial.

    Keep it safe and private

    Never share anyone's personal details, including your own phone number, address, or money information. Don't ask others for money or promote products or services.

    Respect every story

    Everyone is welcome here, whatever they believe or wherever they are on their journey. Hateful, harassing, sexual, or violent content is removed.

    Anonymous, but not unseen

    You can post without your name showing to other members. To keep everyone safe, our moderators can still see who posted, and accounts that break these guidelines may be limited or removed.

    When it's an emergency

    EOPIRA isn't an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, please call your local emergency number or a crisis helpline right away.
